Nursery Cook £12.60 per hour (the Real Living Wage)/£16,426 p.a. 25 hours per week Monday to Friday + £150 introductory payment upon successful completion of 6 month probationary period & cost of Enhanced DBS Check

The main duties and responsibilities include planning, ordering and cooking nutritious lunches and snacks, in line with the nursery’s healthy eating programme, as well as ensuring all food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations and requirements are adhered to. The menu provides one hot meal and pudding per day, with relevant adjustments for age & allergens.
Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or providing meals in an educational or residential setting, as well as experience/knowledge of food standards and health & safety requirements within a kitchen environment is preferred, however, training will be given.
