Our Development programme

Since 2020, we have added significantly to our housing stock. We appointed Thomas Armstrong (Construction) to build 24 new bungalows on the Westfield estate on areas of land that were previously unkept and old garage sites. These bungalows have changed the lives for many people including many who have lived on the Westfield estate for many years. They have a number of energy efficient measures to ensure that running costs are low for tenants. Funding was provided for the bungalows from Homes England with the balance of funding provided by Westfield HA. Additional parking was also provided on the Crown Close development for the benefit of others on the estate.

We have taken handover of eight properties in High Harrington from Story Homes and seven properties in Wigton from Washington Homes.

Since 2020, we have also bought fourteen properties on the Westfield estate and two properties in Seaton off the open market which have been a great addition to our housing stock.

Going Forward

Westfield HA will be taking ownership of one x three-bedroom property in Gilcrux from Washington Homes in September 2026.

We are also purchasing six properties in Seaton, which are being built by Story Homes. These are due for completion 2027-28 and consist of 2 x two-bedroom bungalows and four two-bedroom houses.
